PriorizR

Patients’ treatment needs undergo a systematic and efficient assessment process for wait list prioritisation. The criteria to prioritise client’s wait list status draw on scientific evidence, expert knowledge, and empirical data. Clinical, psychosocial and organisational factors are the core of patients’ treatment need assessments.

PriorizR is a fair and uniform prioritisation system to record patients’ needs. It ensures that patients with greater or more urgent needs receive services first. It significantly shortens the waiting time and proposes suitable and available treatment options. PriorizR has three interrelated modules: SCORING, RANKING and MATCHING.

Scoring

Scoring means that patient information is reviewed by clinical experts. A weighted guideline is used for registration, needs assessment, and initial consultation. Optional electronic patient data capture forms can be supplied for your website that make it easier for clients to fill out forms.

The patient receives a total assessment score. This is used to assign the waiting list status. The status progression on the waiting list is controlled by a specially developed dynamic key with steering elements. The elements are the guide-based score. The weighting of the scores is based on the treatment plan and prior waiting time.

This determines the pace that patients with higher needs move up on the waiting list compared to the other patients.

Ranking

Ranking is the central waiting list function of PriorizR. It organises and displays the information about patients and their ranking in the waiting list.

Matching

A suitable and available counsellor or service is matched with patients based on their specific characteristics and needs. The matching criteria include: the type and combination of needs, language, location and treatment, mobility, counsellor and the patient resources.

Clinical staff make the decisions

The waiting list is evidence-based and needs-oriented. It was developed by a team of clinical, managerial and IT experts. PriorizR ensures that healthcare professionals make the clinical decisions about assessments, level of prioritisation and the designated treatment.

Trusted by social service experts:

PriorizR enables us to achieve precise and fair needs-based prioritisation.

Mag. Dr. Martina Gasser, MBA Executive Management, Institut für Sozialdienste gemeinnützige GmbH

PriorizR helps me by allocating the appropriate counsellors to our clients. This is repeatedly confirmed through the feedback we receive from patients and counsellors. I particularly like that the different filter functions are user-friendly, and the programme is easy to operate. It is a valuable tool that maximises my work efficiency.

Ulrike Haßler Administration, Institut für Sozialdienste gemeinnützige GmbH

PriorizR enables ranking and matching based on criteria and calculation algorithms. The possibility of linking multiple data sources and the structure of the software offers strong potential for integrating additional criteria. The software reduces administrative effort and leads to a high rate of successful counselling matches.
